Can there really be any science that can offer physical or theoretical evidence of ESP, psychic or spiritual experiences? Searching for answers to explain ESP, the paranormal and the supernatural, has led me to believe that there is some outstanding evidence for the quantum mind out there if you look in the right places. Are We All Psychic?
Being able to see the future through psychic, spiritual or other extra sensory means is one of my special interests because it's something I've been experiencing since I was a little girl. It's not just me either - so many people have extra sensory experiences that we could call it a "normal" everyday human experience. Yet it's one that many will brush off as just coincidence or simply insane.
But who hasn't had the experience of just knowing who's on the other end of the phone when it rings or hasn't thought of someone they haven't seen in a long while and then bump into them in a day or two? Maybe you are reading this because you have these kinds of experiences, and like me, are looking for an explanation?
I've done a lot of reading and research on the topic of ESP, the nature of time and physics. I've kept a very open mind about where I will gain information and knowledge from - whether it be from a science book, a program on physics or a spiritual doctrine. I've also had many people contact me looking for an explanation through my dream interpretation website which has helped me develop my thoughts and ideas about what ESP is all about.
While there is no definitive proof of how these types of psychic experiences can occur, there are some theories and hints at what might be happening. My view is that there are two main ways of looking at this subject - spiritually and scientifically. These viewpoints are not opposed, simply blended.
A Personal Experience of Precognition and Dream Telepathy
I was about 8 years old and I kept having this dream where I was in a race at Summer Camp. One part of the race had three low benches that I had to hurdle over. As I hurdled the second bench I caught my foot on it and my face slammed into the third bench. Imagine my surprise when a few days later on our last day at camp we had a relay race with obstacles - one part of which was made of three low benches that we had to hurdle.
You can guess what happened! I fell on the second bench and smashed my face into the third. What hadn't been in my dream though was that I got up with my face grazed and bleeding and continued to win the race!

This kind of experience was not uncommon for me, especially as a child. Through my dreams I would see things in the exact same detail before they happened - like a memory of the future. Many times I would tell people about these dreams before the actual events happened and later on I spent many years writing down my dreams.
My experience of ESP has not been limited to dreams either. When I was meditating daily I found that I had a very strong ability to know what people were thinking and what they were going to say before they said it. Not 100% of the time, but I'd say around 80% of the time my extra sensory perception was correct.
It happens to me less and less now that I've gotten older, but on rare occasions I still experience dream telepathy and dream of places, events and people that I've never come across before. A few weeks or months later I find myself in the exact same situation that I dreamed of.
So how can ESP be explained from a spiritual perspective.... ?
Several spiritual belief systems believe in reincarnation, mainly Hinduism, Buddhism, New Age, Theosophy and Sikhism. As well as believing that we come back into a new body over and over again, many also believe that between incarnations we work with others in our group to pre-plan the conditions and life events for our coming life, so as to learn specific lessons.
In this way of thinking, we have pre-chosen what our life will bring, what people will be around us, the challenges we will face, who our family will be, what choices we will make etc. If this is true then it seems feasible to, at times, have a rememberance of what we pre-planned through dreams or a meditative state. Though the whole picture is unavailable we can have glimpses of what we have planned for ourselves.
Now for the question, why would this happen in the dream state? My view is that our energy bodies, unencumbered by our physical body and without the distractions of everyday life, are more integrated and more able to communicate with our conscious mind. Or rather, we are more able to perceive information contained in these energy bodies, including the plans we have made for our life.

So that's all very well but where's the proof?
I'm not going to go into the evidence for reincarnation, but look to modern physics for their explanations of the nature of reality and especially of time. The world of quantum physics is utterly beyond how we perceive the world around us but has plenty of experimental proof in it's favour.
For instance: an electron can be in two places at once YES YOU READ IT RIGHT - in fact in can be in an INFINITE number of places at once! An electron on the other side of the universe can affect another on this side instantaneously - this is quantum entanglement.
It might be useful to remember at this point that we are made from billions of these amazing, tiny things.
Most of what makes up the "solid" things around us, including us, is space; there are currently trillions of particles (neutrinos) streaming through me and you at this very moment and none of them will hit anything inside of us. None of these things tell us directly about how we could possibly perceive the future, but what they do tell us is that there is much more going on than we are aware of - most of which does not fit in with our rational view of the world we live in.
Our perceptual equipment is just not geared up to "feel" everything on a quantum level, but maybe this is how we pick up information that has no obvious source, or in other words extra sensory perception. The scientist in the bottom video on the right, says that in the quantum world it's all about transmitting of information and potential information.
The Science of Time
Maybe extra sensory perception of the future tells us something about the nature of time which we experience as constant and linear, but science from the period of Einstein onwards, has shown experimentally not to be the case.
Einstein himself said, "for us physicists believe the separation between past, present, and future is only an illusion, although a convincing one." Different spiritual beliefs also state that all time is happening at once.
If this is true then why shouldn't we have memories of the future as well as the past?
How many dimensions?!
String theory, which has now evolved into M theory, says that there are at least 11 dimensions. This includes several curled up dimensions, including possibly another time dimension, that are so small we do not perceive them with our normal 5 senses. (Our normal experience is of 4 dimensions, up/down, left/right, back/forward and time.)
Maybe these curled up dimensions hold the key to how we could perceive the future or have other extra sensory experiences and will, in time, give us information about the mechanism of how it happens. Because we know it does happen, what's unclear is how it happens.

I'm not one who believes in religions, but I have had views of the future in dreams and waking moments that later came to pass. they were out of the blue moments,not something I knew was going to happen. I wonder if there is some sort of electrical force that binds us together ans if some people allow themselves to be more aware of and attuned to that force.
Ivan - It's something that many people have experienced and in that sense it's not uncommon. The way you describe your experince of it is much the same as I do - I just find myself in a situation I remember but it has a different feeling to deja vu. I think we are all bound together in some way and I do hope that science will eventually give us a definite answer.
It seems to me rather like the way one explains the curve of the space-time continuum, which is caused caused by mass. Is there some other force that can ride the space-time continuum and allow us a view of things to come? Or, does it merely use this warp as a road or conduit to get beyond our current physical state?
One wonders.

Wonderful, informative reading. I've become a fan. I too believe in the universal consciousness and the relatedness of all things. Although I'm still working on improving my clairvoyant abilities, I'm a true believer in creative visualization, thoughts manifesting things and vibrational medicine. Now I have to scroll back up and view those intriquing videos!
my family always had a very high rate of ESP, and it was exceptional. Usually it only works within the family. But it was spooky. I have looked for a long time to find other people who are like this, but I found out that all these websites online are commercial in phony and they are not real psyche people at all.
So I haven't been able to get ahold of other people who have very high ESP rates. And mine is not very good anymore, the only thing I can do some times is "travel" in my dreams. People in my family did that a lot, especially my dad, "traveling" while asleep everywhere else geographically on earth. My problem is, I have traveled to other places while asleep, and I don't even know where they are or what their names are.
When I moved back to Eugene Oregon, I did not know how it changed; four months before I moved, I had all these dreams of being on highways and freeways constantly driving back and forth over a long area. And when I got to Eugene Oregon, accidentally I found the exact freeways and highways that I had been traveling on in my dreams for months. Apparently, I had been looking for a particular department in Eugene, and my dreams had showed me traveling there over and over literally. Because when I went there to find that department, there were the exact freeways and highways exactly as they were in my dreams. So I guess people in my family have something that is called "traveling" and it's real. However, I have no control over it. I don't know how to use it. I have trouble sleeping now, and I have a lot of trouble dreaming, and I would like to know how to train myself to do it again.
If anybody knows any real ESPwebsites that do not cost money and are not commercial phonies, I would like to know about them because I need to get some kind of help to understand this and use it. I no longer get a lot of the ESP experiences, because I have blocks and emotional problems; I'd like to know how to find people in Eugene, Oregon, to help me with this. I don't care if this sounds ridiculous or weird, I'm an older person and I just want to develop this and use it properly for myself. Excellent read, the kind that makes peoples minds hurt. In quantum theories, it seems as everything has purpose rather than darwinian suggesting randomness and chance. Is this wrong?
Hi and thanks ConsciousObserver :) I don't know if you are right or wrong. I do know that the mathematics of Quantum physics is all based on probability and therefore chance, because we can never know exactly where a particle is - we can only say that with a high probability it will be in this or that location. So I'm not sure the maths has shown purpose to it. Then again that doesn't mean there isn't an underlying purpose!

This is real helpful to me, because I have been getting more involved in my dreams, REM and my "esp" abilities to help others. And yes, it requires a lot if meditation, and channels if energies have to be positive.

Hi Mystical Dreamer - Recurring dreams indicate that there is an important message or a particular thing you need to learn (usually relating to something that's impeding your progress or holding you back in life).
Think of the recurring dream like a very good friend who sees something in your life or your behaviour that is doing you no good and keeps trying to tell you over and over again. The dream will continue until you have discovered it's message.
Amazing, Some people really doubt such things but for those who don't it's not really surprising that an electrons could be in two places at once etc, so much is really possible.

Hello. I had a dream in high school. A few times. that I was in a cooking class and I was sitting with 2 boys 1 girl and the boy was irritating me. To my surprise my parents a short while later moved me 120 miles away and it happend. Never thought anything of it until now. I dreamt My cat was on a certain street far way outside of town then the next day. Cat was gone. Revived a call it was spotted on a camera on that street. Still missing months later. Now I so scared. Had a dream that I was in a old building and the roof caves in. Month later I am in this building and now in full time college. Out of town never been there ever. And it's the same building. I carry a flashlight in my pocket to each class and as a nursing student I am also scared to tell anyone. Help what can I do.
This information is just amazing.Well explained and iam truly gracious to have finally found the answers i myself have tried anxiously to figure out.Iam always predicted various out comes.In the norm I would have people in mind to only run into them soon enough,or their birthday plays in the lotto and seince I happen to take a chance it just brings me a few lucky bucks........ smiles:n
I had a ESP dream when my cousin got killed in my dream and I usally never have dreams about her she is only 6 I woke and told her sister about the dream she was in the next room I found out she got a flu just that morning weird.
I have to admit.....that we all have a sense of predicting and a psychic ability.However some of us are far more in tune with the universe on a spiritual,emotional and mental level weather we hear a voice other than our own some of us even experience electrical energy and at times even find our selves comunicating with our friends family and strangers on a more deeper level as if we know what they going through.It could be quite scary but at times I find my self grieving for no purpose of my own but because I might ofr picked up some soar of energy from a person iam close to,while they are in my presence with out them comunicating verbally any feelings they have at the time....uuuummmm call it weird.I call it psychic ability.
